So we went again to monument peak early in the morning to catch the sunrise, but this time w/ fran, omair, and alex h but w/o alex g. It was much easier than the first time 'cause it's summer. Didn't have to face the fog and cold like last time. IMO, the outcome wasn't nearly as good as the first time. When we got there, the sun was already coming up, so the sky was somewhat lit already. We didn't get to see the shooting stars like we did last time. Also, we weren't surrounded in clouds on the peak 'cause it was a clear day.
I guess you can't have to all. Either an easy hike w/ subpar results or a grueling one with amazing scenery.
