You know those moments when you suddenly remember what your dream was about in the middle of your day? I had one today that I think is worth mentioning.
What actually happened in it isn't as important as what it got me thinking about. Basically, I was was pushed back in time 4-5 years, back to around my middle school years. I had all my current knowledge but I was free to become friends with anyone I wanted. So this got me thinking: If you were able to go back in time, would you change the people who you hung out with? Right now, you know how everyone has turned out. Whether they party, excel in academics, or whatever. Would you change the group you chill with in order to get closer to say, a person of interest? Would you make friends with all the cool kids? Maybe you would have avoided unnecessary drama between you and one of your "friends." Changing any of those things would possibly alter your entire high school experience as well as everything else thereafter.
I know a lot of people would say stuff like "I wouldn't change a thing about my life." Psh.
I'd call their bluff.
