♦20Aug09 Van's Warped Tour 2009

*NOTE* I'd advise that you not watch too closely to some of the We The Kings/All Time Low videos b/c the camera shakes a lot in them. This is 'cause I'm standing next to a bajillion crazy jumping fans. It might make you dizzy ): You might want to just listen to the audio if it's too much.

Today I went to the Warped Tour w/ Alex. It was pretty last minute b/c he got the tickets for free from his cousin a couple of days before the event. Way better than The Fray concert imo.

It started off w/ me picking him up around 1 p.m and heading to the Shoreline (again). We stopped by 7-eleven for some candy and drinks. We found Angry Akash in the Quizno's nearby. He drove away in his taxi, no lie. We were hella lost when we got there, it being our first time there and all. We found the schedule and started going to bands we liked in the following order:

Hit The Lights

They were good. We got hella lucky 'cause we sat down randomly and they just so happened to be playing.

We The Kings

They were awesomeee. My favorite set out of all of them. They were funny and all the songs played were good. There weren't any distractions, (explained later) so getting into to their music was a breeze.

Every Avenue

Good good good gooood songs. Handsome man, no homo?

All Time Low

I didn't like them as much as I expected to. When the day started we kinda thought this was going to be the best one, but they played a lot of songs I didn't know. I guess that's my fault. There was a mosh pit and people flying everywhere, which was pretty distracting.

The White Tie Affair

I was hellahellahella excited when I found out they were playing. I only found out about them recently through Hung. Sorry that we couldn't bring you ): They were also pretty damn awesome. The 'Just Dance' section was a bit too much auto tune though heh.

I'm kinda sad we didn't get to see This Providence but oh well. Five is enough for one day.
